Coldwell Banker TGRE is the exclusive leasing agent for Galveston’s newest downtown luxury apartment building.

Based in the Cotton Exchange and Board of Trade building at 2102 Mechanic Street, the building is being developed by Hadar Goldman who was responsible for the USNB Building redevelopment with Galveston architect David Watson who worked on both projects.

“There is a real demand for luxury rentals downtown and we are pleased to be partnering with Hadar Goldman to bring this opportunity to market. We know it will be a spectacular development with designer touches and high-quality finishes in each of the 19 apartments. We were the exclusive leasing agent for the USNB Building and leased 61 apartments in 2021. So, we are confident this development will be equally sort-after,” said Tom Schwenk Owner & Broker of Coldwell Banker TGRE.

Schwenk said the development is wonderful for the continued development of downtown Galveston and shows Goldman’s commitment to Galveston Island.

“As a historic real estate expert, I appreciate the effort that Hadar puts into his developments and the expertise that David brings to the table in terms of protecting and enhancing the architectural and historical features of a building. From the exterior rehabilitation to the interior fit-out I know it will be of the highest quality with special features in each of the 19 apartments.”

The four-story building has an excellent location for anyone wanting to make the most of downtown Galveston life. From the second story and up there are good views and the view from the penthouse is just incredible. The penthouse will have its own private terrace and access to the pool in the USNB Building,” he said.

The Cotton Exchange is likely to be move-in ready around September 2023 with one and two-bedroom floor plans available.
