You’ll often hear Tom say “Those who are lucky enough to live by the sea are lucky enough”.
Tom first came to Texas by way of Houston. He knew he wanted to live in Texas, but felt that something was missing in the Houston area. He was invited to visit Galveston and immediately decided it was the place for him.
A New Jersey native, Tom is used to living near the water and enjoying all the beach has to offer.
Tom lives here because it is a diverse community, it’s an island, we are self-reliant, and resourceful. It’s relatively inexpensive to live on Galveston Island and it’s easy to get involved in the community here.
Galveston Real Estate
Tom has owned property in Galveston since 1987, and became a full time resident in 2001. He earned his real estate license in 2003 and earned his Brokers license in 2016. Over the years Tom has established himself as a top Galveston Island Realtor®. In addition to selling throughout the island representing buyers and sellers, he is a very successful residential and commercial leasing agent.
Aside from his professional work as one of the top Galveston Realtors, Tom also participates in numerous community programs and events, and serves on the boards of several local organizations.
There are so many things to do, no matter your interests. There are dozens of recreational activities that cover everything from walking, bird watching, surfing, fishing, boating, just to name a few.
There are also historical tours and points of interest scattered throughout the city. Galveston is home to rich history, so there is plenty to discover and learn about what makes Galveston what it is today.
There are so many places to just hang out. If you enjoy seeing people the downtown area is a great place to hang around. There are art walks, historical celebrations, and a lot of interesting people.
Galveston also has a unique diversity in age groups. There are several colleges on the island so there is a large student population. At the same time, Galveston Island and Galveston Bay offer retirees a great place to relax and do whatever they feel like doing.
Add in the rest of us and you have a very unique group of people living here, and there is always something interesting going on around the island. There are dozens of annual events here every year that attract visitors from around the region and the country.

Tom is a past President of GAR, and the Galveston Historical Foundation, Tom currently is the Chairman of the Landmarks Commission, sits on the Galveston Island Nature Tourism Board, The Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance and he is his Neighborhood Association finance director.
Tom is a past state board member of the Texas Association of Interior Design (TAID) a past president of Galveston Historical Foundation (GHF), a former member of the Galveston Zoning Board and the Hurricane Ike recovery committee.
