If there is one constant throughout Jackie’s careers, it has been a desire to serve. It is this passion that drives her commitment to give back to her community and provide exemplary service to her students, customers, and clients.

Jackie visited Galveston regularly for a couple of years and her love for the island prompted a relocation of her small business, Odds & Ends, Etc. to historic downtown Galveston. She followed shortly thereafter, immediately joining Texas’ Oldest Chamber, the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, as a Navigator, welcoming other new businesses to the island.

With her fascination of the Strand’s architecture and grandeur of the historic East End homes, it was only natural that she support the Galveston Historical Foundation. Beyond the historical aspects of Galveston Island, her enchantment with the island’s beaches, abundance of activities, festivals, and tourism, prompted Jackie to become a Certified Tourism Ambassador and pursuit of her Real Estate License, partnering with Tom Schwenk and his knowledgeable team at Coldwell Banker TGRE as a member of both the Houston Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
