Congratulation to the Galveston County Daily News for celebrating its 175th
Anniversary. In my advertisement to honor the occasion I found the perfect
quote – “My theory was that a city without a newspaper is a city without a
soul.”
The Daily News certainly gives our city a soul and helps ensure we remain
connected to each other by sharing the news of the county. I regular
