Galveston Real Estate is Booming
The Daily News recently reported a 15% increase in real estate sales. My personal experience certainly backs this up. First and second home buyers are buying up the island. In the last two weeks I’ve sold homes in Broadway, the East End, San Jac and Cedar Lawn. If you want to buy or know someone who wants to buy let me know quick. It’s an exciting trend and one I was happy to be quoted on.

Twelve Rocks The Opera House
The auction and opening for this local art project raised $3,000 for the Galveston Arts Center to assist in running arts classes for children and senior citizens across the island. More than 1,000 people packed into Edna’s Room for the event breaking the attendance record set two years ago. I’m proud to sponsor such a successful, positive and fun project. Galveston Historical Foundation News
GHF has appointed Amy Ferguson as board president for 2013/14.
Also at the general meeting, I was honored with the award for Outstanding Volunteer. It’s my pleasure to help an organization that does so much for Galveston.
Rental Market Strong
I’ve recently started listing rentals and the market is strong. There are three beauties on my listings page but be quick to check them out because they won’t last long. See the details here.
